TGiF Means Equality Happy Hour

Equality Happy Hour at UnionCafe is the newest toast of the town -- and you can be a part of it. Every Friday, you'll meet friendly folk and enjoy tasty 'tinis while supporting the local struggle for equal rights for all.

UnionCafe staff serves their own special premium $4 martinis, with a dollar from each martini going to benefit HRC Columbus, Equality Ohio and Stonewall Democrats of Central Ohio (SDCO). Equality Happy Hour organizers say it's a fun way to get or stay involved with making strides toward equality for all.

"We want to do a relaxed non-event. Everyone can enjoy a fun happy hour and raise funds by being social,' said UnionCafe proprietor Michael Council.

Much like the dedicated men and women in Columbus working toward equal rights for everyone, Equality Hour is in it for the long haul. Join in the fun!
