Join the Human Rights Campaign and other organizations for the National March for Equality in Washington, D.C during the weekend of Oct. 9-11.
HRC and other groups will be holding events throughout the weekend so please see the schedule below for confirmed events and continue visiting this page for updated information.
On October 11, meet at the Human Rights Campaign building, 1640 Rhode Island Ave. NW, at 11 a.m. The march will take us through D.C. and end with the National Equality March Rally. The march begins at 12 p.m.

- The Human Rights C a.m.paign will be sponsoring an HRC Action Center at our headquarters from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Learn more about lobbying Congress, the fight in Maine and more. 1640 Rhode Island Ave N.W. at the corner of 17th St. and Rhode Island Ave N.W.

This is the morning kick off for the IMPACT events! A grassroots advocacy festival. All ages welcome.

- Cadence Run
Run with LGBT Servicemembers and veterans military style, around the memorials/monuments

An interfaith service with singing and celebration!

March for Equality!
12 p.m.
Route
- Gather on 15th Street at “I” (Eye) Street – we will be staging in the street and 15th between “I” Street and “M” Street will be closed for this purpose. The March will kick off from 15th and I Street, right near McPherson Square (Metro stops close by are at McPherson Square, Farragut West – both Blue and Orange Lines, and Farragut North – Red Line)
- From there we go South on 15th to “H” Street
- West on “H” Street to 17th Street
- South on 17th Street to Pennsylvania Avenue (closed portion)
- Pennsylvania Avenue (closed portion) – right past the White House – to 15th Street
- South on 15th Street to Pennsylvania Avenue South
- East on Pennsylvania Avenue South, all the way to the U.S. Capitol West Lawn for the National Equality March Rally.

The March culminates in a rally at the Capitol Building
